Emily Jones

Emily is the owner of Emily Jones Piano Studio in the Santa Ana Heights neighborhood of Newport Beach, California. She specializes in teaching pre-reading through intermediate piano students, helping them build strong foundations in music reading, healthy technique, and artistic expression while developing into confident, independent musicians.

Emily’s teaching philosophy is relationship-centered and grounded in a deep appreciation for the trust families place in a music teacher. She believes music lessons are the vessel through which students build a lifelong relationship with music while developing confidence, self-expression, perseverance, and independence.

In 2022, Emily opened her brick-and-mortar Newport Beach studio, where she provides warm, patient, and individualized piano instruction.

Emily is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and the California Association of Professional Music Teachers, and is currently working toward national certification in piano pedagogy through MTNA.

Emily is a blue-ribbon baker, cat mom to Cleo, and happily married to her partner in life, Tori.
